Community Computing at Tipton St John
Workshops are held on a Friday on the following dates (AM) session between 09.30am and 12.30am (PM) session between 02.00pm and 05.00pm
Please also note a further change The course on "Browing the Web", scheduled for 9th March 201223 has had to be re-scheduled for Friday 16th March 2012.
Subject and Tutor led Workshops will be at £5.00 per session. Query Workshops will remain as present at £5.00 per session. All tuition and time provided by the team of helpers is given free of charge, the session fees cover room rental, refreshments and use of internet facilities. In order to provide the best learning environment, we will have a limit of 10 places on the tutor led workshops, and 12 places on the general query workshops.
Brochures outlining the workshop program can be downloaded below and also details are disp-layed at Ottery St Mary and Sidmouth libraries, who have been supporting our efforts. You can also keep an eye on the Community Hall notice board. We are always looking for people with computer knowledge to help assist us in our sessions, and helpers do this on a rota basis, so the commitment at maximum is twice a month, but often once a month for a Friday morning. So if you think you can assist people to get involved with computers and wish to help then please contact Martin Dace at the contact points provided. We have already received a number of enquiries from people both locally and around the country asking after details of village clubs and societies. We pass these on, and will continue to do so. |
